From the back of his neck to about his waist, Yoojin's spine has been visibly inscribed with... an inscription... that improves his sensitivity to mana and fine control over magic. I don't have a detailed description of what this looks or feels like to the touch, but based on the process involved in getting it, it's definitely more than a tattoo.

Unfortunately for Yoojin, the mana sensitivity is way more powerful than his F-rank body can handle, to the point that simply existing in a space with mana moving about (which is not just part of magic, but a fundamental component of life and the construction of the universe) leaves Yoojin a screaming, crumpled, non-functional mess on the floor. Good job subjecting yourself to excruciating pain with no off button, stupid!

Fortunately for Yoojin, there are canonical nerfs in place. Depending on his canonpoint, either someone else has applied magic to numb or block the inscription, or a liquid metal "item" is in place to adjust the intensity of what he can feel. In a pinch, when he really needs that extra fine control or sensitivity, he can deactivate that item with something else in his inventory. He'll just suffer for it.

Tl;dr: Yoojin generally has some ability to sense the movement of mana (i.e., magic) and can manipulate his own mana a bit, albeit with difficulty. He can ramp this sensitivity up to 500 if we ever feel like being DRAMATIC.
